Casa Feliz Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothing merchandise.

Casa Feliz Group's story

The communal bank Casa Feliz is comprised of eight members. Lucia serves as the group's president, and appears in the photo dressed in black on the left; Karen, the treasurer, is in the middle in a black jacket and jeans, and next to her on the right is the secretary, Andrea, in a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Karen is a single mother, and began her business selling on the internet and out in the markets in the city of Oruro on weekends and holidays. In this way she was able to expand her merchandise and save up enough money to open a little clothing store in her home, and support her two-year-old daughter, who she is raising on her own. In spite of these difficult circumstances, Karen strives ahead.

This loan will be used to buy children's and women's seasonal clothing, with the goal of having a variety of merchandise, and increasing sales.
Note: only three people appear in the photo, because of biosecurity measures imposed due to the global pandemic.
