Lino Jesus's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy stock such as screws, cement, tools, tire chains, drive belts etc. for his hardware store.

Lino Jesus's story

27-year old Lino is businessman and a resident of the town of Barranquilla where he lives with his wife and where he owns a hardware store. Lino Jesus started his business approximately five years ago because of the lack of work opportunities and his wish to help his family get ahead. He has gained recognition in the area as a responsible and hardworking person. Lino provides his services to passersby, neighbours, relatives, and local people who may pay either in cash and on credit.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic he had to stop working because of health concerns and national government orders. Now he is arranging his first loan with Kiva and the Santo Domingo Foundation so he can increase working capital to buy stock such as screws, cement, tools, tire chains, drive belts etc. Then he will be able to increase sales and profits.

Please help him with this loan for his business.
