A loan helped to buy groceries to stock her store.
Lidamil, 43, is an enterprising woman who lives in the city of Cartagena de Indias with her husband. She's had a general store there for about 2 years. Lidamil started this business because of the lack of job opportunities, and because she wanted to get ahead with her family. She tends to her store daily, serving people from the outskirts of her neighborhood, neighbors, friends, and others. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, her profits and sales fell quite a bit, because she had to close her store early for health reasons. Now, she is requesting her first Kiva loan with the Fundacion Santo Domingo to increase her working capital. This way, she can buy merchandise such as sacks of rice, eggs, cooking oil, snacks, soft drinks, and other items so that she can increase her sales and profits. Support her with this loan for her business!
