Abisunganye Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy maize flour, cooking oil, and rice to sell.

Abisunganye Tcb Group's story

Gorette is 35 years old a mother four children between the ages of 3 and 14. Her husband is a civil servant. For the past three years, she has owned a grocery store.

Gorette is the leader of the group Abisunganye TCB, which means “people who come together” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Gorette will use her portion of the loan to buy maize flour, cooking oil, and rice to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and expand her business. She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
