Abishyizehamwe Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, sugar, and soap.

Abishyizehamwe Cb Group's story

Olive is a 34-year-old mother of 1 child, aged 5 years. Her husband is a civil servant, and for the past three years, she has owned a grocery store.

Olive is the leader of the group named ABISHYIZEHAMWE CB, which means “People joined together" in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Olive will use her portion of the loan to buy more rice, sugar, and soap to sell in her community so that she can meet customer demand.

With the profit she earns from her sales, she will be able to provide for the family.

Olive is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
