Mapamboli Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on drinks which will reinforce her initial capital.

Mapamboli Group's story

Madam Esperance is a client of Hekima and the representative of the Mapamboli group villageoise. She is 49 years old and a widow, with eight children.

Madam Esperance is a vendor of drinks; she began her business one year ago with the financial backing of her late husband. Later on she partnered with Hekima in order to support her business, which has grown well.

With this new loan, Madam Esperance plans to stock up on drinks, which will reinforce her initial capital. The main difficulty her business faces is a lack of merchandise.

Madam Esperance hopes to help her children continue their studies and that she will be able to expand her business. In the future she hopes to purchase a plot of land.

Lastly Madam Esperance would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to non-bankable small business owners, particularly in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis.

At this time in order to maintain social distancing, only the group leader is photographed.
