A loan helped to pay to have the land filled around his house.

Panheaka's story

Panheaka is a humble villager who lives in Angkor Chey District, Kampot Province, with his spouse and three children. He is an industrious man who works by the sweat from his brow to earn a livelihood. His primary business focuses on farming and trading cows by purchasing cows from other villagers then selling them to the trader to earn profits. The income he earns is used to cover his daily expenses and his children’s education and allowances. Panheaka and his spouse wants to be more successful in their family’s agricultural business so that they can earn a good income to provide for their daily needs. However, Panheaka still uses traditional methods in his farming. At the moment, the land around his house is full of mud and cannot support proper sanitation for his family.

Due to a shortage of funds, he has applied for a loan of 2,000 USD so that he can pay to have the land filled around his house. With this loan, he hopes that his family will have a good living environment and protection from illnesses. In the future, he aims to renovate his old house and encourage his children to continue studying at a university. He sends his thanks to the lenders for supporting his family and promises to pay back the loan as scheduled.
