A loan helped to pay for landfill around her house.

Sina's story

Sina is a 37-year-old experienced farmer from the Angkor Borei district of Takeo. She lives with her spouse and children, the latter of whom completely depend on her income and attend school.

Sina is engaged in growing rice and raising some poultry at home to cover her family's needs. She and her spouse help each other manage their rice farm to ensure high crop yields in each harvest season. They have been in this business for nearly five years. Sina also sells food at the local market to earn additional income.

Farming is the most important source of her family’s income. Good results from previous years have encouraged Sina to try harder to go far in her projects. With her perseverance, she plans to educate her children up to college because she wants to see her children become professionals one day.

Because of a shortage of finances, Sina has applied for a loan in the amount of 2,000 USD to pay for landfill around her house. With this loan, she can provide her family members with a good environment and fresh air, protecting them from illness and providing good living conditions.

In the future, Sina aims to renovate her old house and purchase more land for agricultural purposes. She sends thanks to all kind lenders for helping her family and promises to pay back the loan on time.
