Rose's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cost efficient maize seed and fertilizer for the coming harvest and a solar light.

Rose's Group's story

Rose is 46 years old and has four children. As a group leader, she is representing seven farmers in Kakamega B (North) District, Kenya.

Rose has been farming with One Acre Fund for years. She joined the program in 2012. This decision was largely a result of her desire to have access to the best seed prices. Although she described her last harvest as good, she believes she could have a better one this year by continuing to work alongside One Acre Fund. She also decided to purchase a solar light as part of her loan, which she is very excited about as it will improve her overall quality of life.

Rose's Group will use this loan to purchase two solar lights and farming inputs to plant a total of 3.25 acres.
