Jean Carlos's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy scissors, capes, hair dryers, etc.

Jean Carlos's story

Jean Carlos and his family live in Portoviejo, a city that was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016 and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in vegetables and tropical fruits for internal consumption.

Jean Carlos has a barber shop at home where customers come to receive his services, including haircuts in a variety of styles and designs. He works every day and sometimes offers in-home services.

At first he stopped working because of social distancing and fear of contagion, as well as restrictions keeping him from leaving the shop. But now he is working again using safety protocols.

This loan is to buy a variety of tools he needs for his work such as scissors, capes, hair dryers, etc. His dream is to have a larger barber shop to employ more people and for his family to be healthy.
