A loan helped to buy more beans and cassava for her foodstuffs business.

Impano Cb Group's story

Greetings from Rwanda! This is Impano CB, a group of entrepreneurs who own businesses varying from food production to retail. The group’s name translates to “A Gift” in English.

Felicite is 52 years old and married with four children aged between 19 and 30 years old. She is the group’s proud representative.

Felicite sells foodstuffs at the local market and has been running this business for the past four years. Felicite has requested this loan to buy more beans and cassava to meet customer demand in her community.

Felicite hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to grow her business.

Felicite, along with the other group members, appreciates the lenders for permitting this opportunity to grow their businesses and better their lives for themselves and their family.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but was able to get one representative for the group photo."
