Annitah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase for more cows for milk to sell.

Annitah's story

Annitah is 25 years old and lives in the town of Kabuusu in the Makindye region of Uganda. She is married and has one child. For the past two years, Annitah has been working hard to manage her dairy shop, where she sells fresh milk.

To help expand her business, Annitah has requested a loan of 1,000,000 UGX from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more cows for milk to sell. It will help Annitah to generate greater profits and be able to take good care of her family, to buy food and improve her business. Annitah hopes that in the future she will be able to buy a piece of land and build rentals.

Annitah is a member of BRAC's Microfinance program (MF). The program primarily serves small group members like Annitah who do not have collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown and qualify for microloans.
