La Victoire Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chickens wholesale.

La Victoire Group's story

Karuta is a client of the MFI Hekima and a counselor with the village group "La Victoire". She's 40 years old, married and the mother of eight children. Six of them go to schools, the other two are infants. Her partner is a motorbike driver.

She sells chickens, a business she started 17 years ago with startup funds received from her husband. Later on, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which enabled her to evolve progressively.

She will use this new loan to buy chickens wholesale, which will strengthen her initial capital. Her business does not face any issue. She would like to be able to feed her family and for her children to continue studying.

In the end, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of global crisis in connection with Covid-19.

Only the group's leader appears in the photograph to respect social distancing measures.
