Sujaa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on a bale of second-hand clothing, which will build on her initial capital.

Sujaa Group's story

Immaculee is a client of the Hekima MFI and the leader of the "Sujaa" village group. She is married, 59 years old and the mother of six children, two of whom are in school and four are already finished; her partner is a mechanic.

She is a seller of second hand clothes, having started this business in 2012 with start-up funds received from her husband. Later she involved the Hekima programme to support her business, during which time it gradually evolved. With this new loan, she is going to buy a bale of used clothing, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge in her work is the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue studying and she would like to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting non-bankable business owners in this context of the global crisis related to COVID-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group because of COVID-19 in respect of social distancing measures.
