but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on generic and specialty medicines, which will increase her starting capital.

Abariki Group's story

Madame Nonciata is a customer of the microfinance institution Hekima and a member of the banc villageois Abariki. She is married, 33 years old, and the mother of 5 children, 3 of whom are in school and 2 younger ones. Her partner is a watchman.

She sells pharmaceutical products. She started this business in 2014 with the startup funds received from her husband. Later, she go involved with the Hekima program to maintain her business, during which time she has gradually progressed. With this new loan, she will stock up on generic and specialty medicines, which will strengthen her startup capital. The challenge of her work has to do with the expiration of the medications.

She would love for her children to continue studying and for herself to provide for her family. Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to owners of non-bankable businesses in light of the global crisis due to COVID-19.
