Usikilivu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy avocados, tomatoes, oranges, manioc leaves and boost her initial capital.

Usikilivu Group's story

Madam Jeannette is a client with MFI Hekima and the president of village group "Usikilivu". She is 46 years old, married and the mother of four children, including three who have graduated and one attending school. Her partner is unemployed.
She sells fruits and vegetables, a business she started twenty years ago with seed money obtained from her husband. Subsequently, she turned to Hekima to support her business which developed gradually. With this new loan, she will buy avocados, tomatoes, oranges, manioc leaves and boost her initial capital. Her business challenges are linked to the bad condition of roads used to transport the merchandise.
She would like to be able feed her family and buy a parcel of land. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for their support to non bankable business owners in this global crises caused by Covid-19. Only the group's leader is pictured on the photo, due to Covid-19 and to observe social distancing guidelines.
