Naite's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a new display fridge, a chest freezer, snacks, frozen goods, canned food, sacks of onions and potatoes.

Naite's story

Naite is 35 years old and married with five children. She lives in a rural village in Samoa. She owns and operates a retail shop in her village. She has been running her business for nine years now. She’s a hardworking, person that would do anything to help her family.

She became a borrower with SPBD in 12 years and has successfully borrowed and repaid 11 loans. Due to her successful history, she is one of a select group that is eligible for a larger loan of $8,000 She will use this loan to buy more stocks for her shop.

With this loan, She will also be supporting her community by providing a service (transportation). In the past, Naite has used the profits from her business to help her children’s education. In the future, she hopes to build a taxi station at her place to expand her business. Her dreams is to build a taxi station at different places to cover the whole island with the good services of her business by providing transportation, as well as restocking her retail shop. She became a member of SPBD in 2009.

Finally, Naite would like to share that she will work very hard and is grateful for your support.
