Pascaline Mabonsari's story

Pascaline Mabonsari is a 45-year-old mother of three. Her children are aged 25, 20, and 10. Her eldest is no longer in school, while her two youngest are still attending the local schools. She is happily married to a security guard.

Pascaline Mabonsari lives with her family in a small shanty home, which is located just two kilometres from Port Vila city. Her community is very small and the main industry is food. Being located in the center of government departments and schools makes it satisfactory for one to earn a steady income.

Pascaline Mabonsari has asked for a loan to help her purchase raw materials and ingredients to stock up her kitchen, which will be used to produce delicious food for her valuable customers. She wants to make new dishes to attract more customers. This will help increase her revenue, which she will save up so she can purchase a piece of land for her family, as they are currently residing on an urban land.

Pascaline Mabonsari also sells green kava as an extra income for her family. She dreams of having her own storefront, so she can sell her products in a place where locals and visitors pass by.

This is Pascaline Mabonsari's fourth loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. She successfully repaid her previous loans on time. Through her loans, Pascaline Mabonsari feels empowered to expand her business to achieve her dreams and improve her family's living conditions.
