Bahoneza Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more Irish potatoes to cook and sell.

Bahoneza Tcb Group's story

Agnes is 45 years old and the leader of the Bahoneza Tcb group, which in English means “Better Life.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Agnes is married and the mother of five children aged between five and 24 years. For the past eight years she has cooked and sold food to earn an income.

Agnes will use her loan to buy more Irish potatoes to sell within her community. With the profits from her sales, she will put away some savings and also provide for the family. She is thankful for your support.

(Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group’s members but was able to get one representative for the photo. Also, there are two borrowers who don't have given names, so they have been identified by their family names.)
