Icyanzu Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more plantains to sell.

Icyanzu Tcb Group's story

Francine is a 45-year-old mother of five children between the ages of 11 and 34. Her husband is a farmer. For the past 25 years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Francine is the leader of the group Icyanzu TCB, which means “gate to success” in English. The members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Francine will use her portion of the loan to buy more plantains to sell in her community. With the profit she earns, she will set aside some savings and also provide for her family. She is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
