Karama Nerica Rice Farmers Association Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay labourers to work on his rice plantation.

Karama Nerica Rice Farmers Association Group's story

Joshua lives in Hoima, Uganda. He is a farmer growing mainly rice, sugarcane, and pineapple. He is a very hard-working man who works with a dream of improving his family's standards of living.

Joshua belongs to a group called Karam Nerica Rice Farmers Association, where he plays the role of group treasurer. These farmers came together with the goal of digging and planting rice through guaranteeing financial assistance from HOKOFAM, which they have done and now each member's standard of living has improved.

Joshua faces the challenge of inadequate capital, unfavourable weather conditions, and debtors. He has applied for a Kiva loan through his group to pay for labourers. He will be grateful if assisted.
