Batmakan's story

Batmakan, 63 years old, married, with a son. She has a secondary education. She is kind and sympathetic by nature. For the past 30 years, the main source of income for her family has been livestock and field farming. Due to her hard work, her farm currently has 8 cows, 60 sheep and 0.43 hectares of land on which she grows watermelon.

In order to further develop her business, she applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 80,000 som (KGS) to pay for field work to grow ecologically pure watermelon. She plans to invest the proceeds from the loan in the expansion of her farm.
