A loan helped to buy supplies for her food business.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This communal bank has 19 members. They've gone through a number of financing cycles, and are seeking a way to continue to work together and provide their families with the best.

Cecilia, one of the members, has a business selling empanadas. She starts work every day early in the morning, when she gets up to prepare the empanadas that she will later go out to sell. She is a person who works hard for her loved ones, so that they can have a better quality of life and avoid any hardships.

Cecilia is requesting this loan to buy supplies to make empanadas, such as meat, condiments, vegetables, and other products.

Note: In the photo, you see only one person, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo due to the need to avoid putting people into close proximity because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
