Khursheed's Group's story
Khursheed is the wife of A. R. and they live in a city called Borewala in Pakistan. Borewala is famous for its shrines. Khursheed has given birth to three children: one daughter and two sons. Her daughter is married and her sons are still studying. The family lives in a small house. Khursheed earns income by making bicycle seat covers to order. She is a very vigorous lady who always wanted to work to share the financial burden with her husband and to stand with him. She makes seat covers by using leather and soft foam to make the seat comfortable for sitting. Khursheed is very happy to mention that, with her income, she has been able to marry her daughter. Her husband feels proud on her in this regard, too. Khursheed’s husband operates a clothes-selling business and has been doing this work for over six years. Khursheed is applying for her second loan from Asasah to expand her husband’s business. With the loan, he will buy more clothes to increase his sales. In this photo, the two members, Naheed and Musarat, are showing the handmade fans that they make.
