Abadahemuka Cb Group's story

Safina, pictured above, is 41 years old and the mother of five children aged between 8 and 22 years. Her husband is a farmer. For the past six years, Safina has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the ABADAHEMUKA CB group, which in English means “brave people.” Group members, who will share in this loan, sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Safina will use her loan to buy more banana plantains to sell within her community. With the profits from her sales, she will put away some money for savings and also provide for the family.
