Esther's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to enlarge her poultry business by increasing the number of her chickens and buying more feed and medicine to boost her production.

Esther's story

Esther is a devoted and committed single mother to her family. She is 35 years old and was born in a family of five members. She now has her own two boys whom she is raising.

Esther engages in poultry farming to provide for her family. She sells eggs, and when the chicken are done laying eggs, she sells them for meat. One of her challenges is diseases that reduce her yield. Part of this loan will be used to combat this, as she will be able to buy the necessary vaccines and medicines for her chickens. She will also buy more feed and increase the number of her chickens. This business has enabled her to create employment for another person, who is able to earn an income from her.

Esther's dream is to eventually acquire a slaughter house and a fast-food outlet where she can sell fried chicken. She has purposed to pay back her loan faithfully using her profits as she works towards achieving this dream.
