Muungano Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, potatoes, beans, corn flour, sugar, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Muungano Group's story

Ms. Esperance is a client of Hekima IMF and treasurer of the groupe villageoise “MUUNGANO”; She is divorced, 55 years old and mother of 2 children who both go to school.

She is a food seller in a restaurant, she started this business for 5 years with the start-up funds received from her husband. Later she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will stock up on rice, potatoes, beans, corn flour and sugar which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of its activity is linked to the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue studying and to rehabilitate her house. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-cash-converting businesses in this context of the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo is only of the leader of the group because of Covid-19 compliance with social distancing measures.
