Ann's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more feed to boost her dairy's milk production.

Ann's story

Ann, 33, is a humble single mother who is blessed with 2 children. She sells secondhand clothes at her shop and is also an experienced dairy farmer, which is how she makes her living to provide for her family. Ann deeply understands that in order to sell good quality milk that her customers appreciate, she has to carefully consider the quality of feed she is feeding her cows. This will help her improve the quantity and quality of her milk. Unfortunately, due to a lack of funds, she is unable to do this.

She has therefore strategized and come to Kiva's field partner Eclof-Kenya (who has been empowering and supporting rural women like her to empower themselves for a brighter future) in search of a loan. She is confident she will be able to pay back her loan in good time using her milk proceeds and she encourages all lenders to make a difference. Her dream is to support her family in every way she can to attain a better future and a good lifestyle, as well as educate her children.
