Salmo Noventa Y Uno Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mulch, fertilizer, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, etc.

Salmo Noventa Y Uno Group's story

Darlin, age 36, is married and the mother of two children. Since the age of 16, she has liked agriculture and she has supported her father in his work in the fields. She began by helping him with the farm work, and later he gave her a plot of land that measures one "manzana' [1.7 acres] of coffee, from which she obtains a return of ten loads. But she also plants corn and beans that yield returns of 20 quintals of beans and 40 quintals of corn on rented land. Her plans for the future are to buy a "manzana" of land to grow basic grains.

She is requesting a loan from Fundenuse with Kiva funds in order to buy the supplies to plant basic grains and for the coffee crop. She belongs to the solidarity group “Salmo Noventa y Uno” with Francisco, José, and Luis, who also work in agriculture.
