Un Mundo Mejor Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, coffee, sugar, meat, and other supplies.

Un Mundo Mejor Group's story

Itza, 28, is married and is the mother of a beautiful 2 year-old girl. She has a business making and selling tortillas, ground coffee, nacatamales, cheese curds, and sweet tamales. She started her business, thinking of strengthening the family's finances and helping out her husband with the basic household expenses.

Itza is requesting a loan from Fundenuse and Kiva to buy rice, coffee, sugar, meat, and other products she needs for her business. Her goal for the future is to open an eatery on the weekends where she could sell roasted meat, enchiladas, and roasted chicken, with the goal of improving her family's living conditions so that they could live more comfortably.

Itza belongs to the communal bank "Un Mundo Mejor," along with Maria Cristina, who makes and sells fried foods such as enchiladas and plantain chips, and Maria Jose, who makes and sells tortillas, ground coffee, and nacatamales.
