Poko Justine's story

Poko Justine has three children who attend school. She is a market gardener and she is also a trader. She buys stocks of cereals and resells them at a market in the capital and at other local markets at the right time. She has been in this business for 18 years in a district on the periphery of the capital. She repaid her first Kiva loan without difficulty and she requests a new loan to buy 40 sacks of onions to stock up and resell to her customers. She plans to use her profit for her business and to make savings to provide for her children. She invites everyone to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus.
