Marie Julliard's story

Marie Julliard is a 46-year-old mother of four, two of whom are grown up while the two youngest are still attending college. She is married, and her husband is self-employed and the back bone to her business. She lives with her husband and children in their own shanty home located in an urban district just 5 minutes drive to Port Vila's international airport.

Marie Julliard's community is large, and the main industry is agriculture. The locals love the local food products so making an income has been satisfactory despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Marie Julliard has requested a loan to help her purchase raw materials and ingredients to stock up her canteen so she can better provide for her customers and increase her income. She wants to make her food affordable for her customers, with a mouth-watering taste for her delicious dishes.

With the earned revenue from her business, she will build her family a permanent home and start building home units. Marie Julliard dreams of opening up her own restaurant so she can accommodate her valuable customers, as she currently is renting out a small space.

This is Marie Julliard's second loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. Her first loan was repaid in a honest and timely manner. Marie Julliard believes her loans will help her achieve her dreams and provide the best for her family.
