Imani Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase women's clothing, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Imani Group's story

Jeanette is a client with the MFI, Hekima, and a member of the village group, "Imani." She is married, 50 years old, and mother of 4 children who are all in school. Her partner is unemployed.

She sells clothes. She started this business 15 years ago with start-up funds from her income-generating activities. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which has grown gradually.

With this new loan, she will buy women's clothing, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge her business faces is related to a lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue to study and to feed her family.

Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to business owners without access to traditional banking facilities in the context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19.

The photo is of only the group leader because of Covid-19 in order to respect social distancing measures.
