Uwe Macho Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on beans, rice, oil, and vegetables, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Uwe Macho Group's story

Madame Claudette is a client of IMF Hekima, and she is the “Uwe Macho” group leader. She is married and 46 years old. She is the mother 6 children, 2 of which are in school and 4 are already independent. Her partner is a painter.

She sells food in a restaurant. She started her business 4 years ago with starter funds from her husband. Later, she chose the Hekima program to support her business, during which she has gradually progressed. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on beans, rice, oil, and vegetables, which will strengthen her initial capital.

The challenges for her work are related to a lack of customers, annoyances from state officials, as well as the exchange rate of dollars. She would like her children to continue their studies, to be able to feed her family, and to buy land.

Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and their partners for the support given to unbankable entrepeneurs in this time of global crisis of Covid-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of Covid-19 with respect to measures of social distancing.
