Angela Guillermina's story
Angela Guillermina is 43 years old and she is married. She has 3 children, 1 of which is of legal age and independent and the other two are 14 and 13 years old. At the moment they can not not study because they do not have internet or a computer. Her husband is a bricklayer. They live in Sosote, which is a parish of the Rocafuerte district, where people earn a living making objects with tagua (a vegetable ivory) they make fried sausage and broth all prepared in clay pots which gives it its traditional and unique flavor. Angela Guillermina is requesting the loan for her husband to buy tools so that he can work in the construction and repairs. He works when he has contracts but during this pandemic he has not had jobs as before. At first he was social isolating so they had no income, but currently he is working on repairs in private homes following all the safety protocols. This loan will be used to buy hammers, tools, jigsaws, pipes, bolts, nails, etc. Her dream is for her husband to have a stable job and that her children can study.
