Tucupi Ii Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to build a cool storage facility for her coffee.

Tucupi Ii Group's story

Martina, age 50, is a woman farmer. In the photo, she is holding the card that says "presidenta" [president]. With her is the entire board of directors, including the treasurer and the secretary, Mariela, who is holding her sleeping baby in her arms.

Most of the members of the communal bank Tucupi II work in agriculture. All are from the municipality of Caranavi, Boliva, an area characterized by production of coffee and cacao, which are exported.

All the members of the group will use the loan to make improvements and investments in their crops or their businesses.

Martina will build a warehouse to keep her coffee crop in good condition, so that the coffee does not go bad, and the beans retain their quality.
