Matumaini Panzi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 30 sacks of maize flour and expand her business capital.

Matumaini Panzi Group's story

Emerciana is a client of Hekima and president of the village group Matumainzi Panzi. She is 50, married and mother to 11 children, who have all been to school. Her partner is a trader.

She has been selling flour for 7 years, a business started with funds from her husband. Recently she has been with Hekima to support her business, which has grown progressively.

With this new loan, she will stock up with 30 sacks of maize flour, which will reinforce her business capital. The problem with her business is non-payers.

She would like that her children continue in school and that she can feed her family. She wants to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to owners of businesses who are non-bankable, especially with Covid-19. The photo is just of her, as they respect the Covid-19 social distancing.
