Alexandra Jaqueline's story

Alexandra Jaqueline lives in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016 and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Alexandra Jaqueline, age 37, is in a common law relationship. She has three children, ages 20, 13, and 4 years, who attend university, high school, and primary school. Her partner is a welder. To help with household expenses, Alexandra Jaqueline sells products from catalogs: Belcorp (lbel, cyzone, esika), Avon and Yanbal (beauty products, cosmetics, perfume, and women's accessories). She works three days per week, two or three hours each day. She sells on credit and collects every eight days. Social isolation at first left her without work due to fear of contagion, but now she is following bio-security protocols.

This loan is to buy orders of shampoo, make-up, lipstick, nail polish, shadow, etc. Her dream is to have her own house and that her family will have good health.
