A loan helped to buy second-hand shoes to reinforce her initial capital.

Salem Group's story

Mme Mimy is a client of Hekima IMF and presides the group of the village called 'SALEM'. She is married, 44 years old and mother of 4 children that are all schooled. Her partner is a humanitarian.

She is a second-hand shoe seller. She started this business 8 years ago with start-up funds that she received from her husband. Later, she applied for the Hekima program to maintain her business, which has developed the business progressively. With this new credit, she will buy second-hand shoes that will reinforce her initial capital. The deficiency of commodities is a challenge for her business.

She would like her children to continue studying and to develop her business. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they offer to business owners that are not profitable in the context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19. Because of Covid-19, the picture only shows the leader to protect the social distancing measures.
