but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped who is going to stock up with nails, locks, extension cords and rebar, which will build up her working capital.
Mapendo Group's story
Arhahama is a client of the IMF Hekima and treasurer of the "groupe villageoise" MAPENDO. She is married, 49 years old and the mother of nine children, three of whom are still in school and six are already independent. Her partner is an artist. She is a hardware products saleswoman. She started this business 15 years ago with start up funds received from her husband. Later, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, over the course of which, she has progressively evolved. With this new loan she is going to stock up on nails, locks, extension cords and rebar, which will build up her working capital. The challenge in her business is tied to state taxes. She would like for her children to continue to study and that she feed her family. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to nonbankable business owners in the context of this global crisis tied to COVID-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19 and respecting social distancing measures.
