Benediction Kasika Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on secondhand clothes and shoes, which will reinforce her starting capital.

Benediction Kasika Group's story

Madame Alice is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and oversees the Benediction Kasika groupe villageoise. She is married, 47 years old, and has 9 children (8 are in school and 1 is an adult). Her spouse is a pastor.

She sells clothing and she began this business 15 years ago with startup funding received from her husband. Later she joined the Hekima program to support her activities, which she was steadily growing. A new loan will allow her to stock up on used clothing and shoes, which will reinforce her starting capital. The challenge she faces in her business is tied to a lack of customers.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and she wants to further develop her business. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they have provided to small-business owners that aren't able to use traditional banks, especially in the context of the global COVID-19 crisis.
