Brigitte's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase housing materials to continue working on her unfinished home and raw materials with food ingredients to stock up her kitchen and increase her income.

Brigitte's story

Brigitte is a 30 year old mother of three; her children are of ages 9, 7 and 3. She will be expecting her fourth soon. She is married and her husband, who works at a construction company, has always been her back bone.

Brigitte lives in a village which is located 30 kilometres out of Port Vila city. Her community is small, and the main industry is fishing and agriculture. Ni-Vanuatu rely a lot on local food and fish as food and income, so making an income has been quite good. She lives with her husband and children in her father-in-laws home.

Brigitte has requested a loan to purchase housing materials to continue with her unfinished home. Also, she will purchase raw materials and food ingredients so she can cook and sell delicious food at the local road market to her valuable customers. She wants to complete her home so that her family can move in.

Brigitte has been cooking and selling at the road market for quite a while now, and she loves providing a smile to her customers with her mouth watering food. She has been in this business for over 10 years. Brigitte dreams of building a bungalow to make extra income for her family.

This is her third loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. She has been devoted to her previous loan repayments. Through her loans, Brigitte is empowered to continue with her business so she can make her dreams come true.
