Wahyu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in improvements to her workshop, where she specializes in beaded batik handbags and totes.

Wahyu's story

Wahyu is an artisan from Indonesia who specializes in beaded batik handbags and totes. She would like to invest in making some improvements to her workshop.

Wahyu has been selling through NOVICA since 2012. She works in Java's legendary batik art. This is her story:

"I'm always keen to learn new things and new techniques. My family taught me that I must work hard to succeed in life. Now I am married, and we have a lovely daughter. In my small batik workshop, I specialize in handbags, cushion covers and table runners, and add details with beads," she says.

"I would like to thank all of you who support my business all of these years. This time, I need funding support to build another workshop in order to increase my production capacity. I hope I can continue to grow my business. Thank you!"
