Nia Moja Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 30 sacks of charcoal, which will increase her starting capital.

Nia Moja Group's story

Mrs. Suzana is a Hekima IMF client who presides over the groupe villageois "NIA MOJA." She is a 59-year-old widowed mother of four, three of whom go to school, and one of whom is finished.

She sells charcoal, a business she started 12 years ago with funds from her late husband. Later, she incorporated the Hekima program to support her business, which overtime she progressively grew. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on 30 sacks of charcoal, which will add to her starting capital. Her business' challenge is linked to unpaid debts.

She would like for her children to continue their education and be fed. In the end, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to unprofitable business owners in this context of a global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19 out of respect of social distancing measures.
