Shekina Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase triplexes, cruets, cement, and nails, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Shekina Group's story

Gentile is a client with the MFI, Hekima, and secretary of the village group, "Shekina." She is single, 26 years old, and has 5 little brothers in her care who are all in school.

She sells products at a hardware store. She started this business 6 years ago with start-up funds from her parents. Later, she joined Hekima to support her business, which has grown gradually. With this new loan, she will purchase triplexes, cruets, cement, and nails which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge her business faces is related to unpaid debts and the multiplicity of taxes.

She would like her little brothers to continue to study and to develop her business.

Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for the support given to business owners without access to traditional banking facilities in the context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19.
