Mapatano Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on peanuts and cassavas, which will increase her starting capital.

Mapatano Group's story

Mrs. Saverine is a Hekima IMF client who presides over the groupe villageois "MAPATANO." She is a 59-year-old married mother of eight children, three of whom attend school, and five of whom are adults. Her partner is a civil servant.

She sells food, a business she started 15 years ago with funds from her husband. Later, she incorporated the Hekima program to support her business, which over time, she progressively grew. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on peanuts and cassavas, which will increase her starting capital. The challenge with her business is linked to the lack of customers.

She would like for her children to continue their education and to be fed. In the end, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to unprofitable business owners in this context of a global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19 out of respect of social distancing measures.
