Asala's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a cotton candy machine and other material needed for producing candy.

Asala's story

Asala is a young Jordanian lady. She is 19, single, and part of 9-person family. The only breadwinner of the family is her father. He works as a carpenter, and this job doesn’t get him the needed income to serve a big family with 7 children.

Asala is a very ambitious and responsible girl, she always wanted to build her own career and future, but it was really challenging to find a decent job.

Asala wanted to think outside the box so she started a small business, making cotton candy for kids to sell in the neighbourhood. To be able to produce more, especially now that kids are loving her cotton candy, Asala asked for a loan of 600 JOD to buy a bigger and better cotton candy machine and provide the business with more material to increase her sales.

Asala is still young, but she is very determined to keep working until she opens a well-known shop that has customers from all over Jordan.
