Mujeres Luchadoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a variety of medications to stock up her store.

Mujeres Luchadoras Group's story

The communal bank called "Mujeres Luchadoras" (Determined Women) was formed when friends and neighbors from Villarrica came together. They are all looking for a way to improve their own as well as their loved ones standard of living. They are in their seventh lending cycle with the women's committee program.
One of the communal bank members is Alba. She is a hard-working person. She works to help her family; she supports her loved ones and makes sure they have everything they need. Alba is a person who makes sacrifices for her loved ones so that she can give them everything she wasn't able to have and to keep them from suffering any lacks.
Alba is requesting this loan so she can purchase a variety of medication for her store. She has pharmacy and wants to stock it up so she can keep her business going.
Add: Only one person appears in the above photo, but this is a group loan. Taking a group photo wasn't possible due to the need to avoid gatherings during the Covid-19 pandemic.
