Dukore Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, sugar, beans, and maize flour.

Dukore Cb Group's story

Pacifique is a 53-year-old mother of two children aged 26 and 32 years. For the past eight years, she has owned a grocery store.

Pacifique is the leader of the group named Dukore CB, which means “Let us work" in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Pacifique will use her portion of the loan to buy more rice, sugar, beans, and maize flour to sell in her community so that she can meet the customer demand. With the profit she earns from her sales, she will be able to buy some land and start a farming business.

Pacifique is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
