Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy tee shirts, shirts, pants, blouses, shorts and more to sell.

Esperanza Group's story

The group called Esperanza is in its third cycle of the women's committee program where everyone works and helps each other to get ahead. They are in the Poverty Stoplight program where everyone strives to grow and get ahead.

One of the members is Marta who on her last survey showed an average level of poverty but she has been growing and improving. She makes her living selling clothing and says that little by little she has been growing and improving through her hard work and sacrifice. She defines herself as a selfless person who, in spite of daily difficulties, does not give up and strives to get ahead.

She is requesting this loan to buy all types of clothing such as tee shirts, shirts, pants, blouses, shorts and more so that she can continue her work as she has in the past.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid a crowd because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
